Hi there!) Very interesting piece of art I must say <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/>
And - I'll be honest -it is difficult for me to write a critique for an art in abstract category because I believe that this is the category where artist has the most freedom of expression <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=":D (Big Grin)"/> but nevertheless - let me try.
+ Despite the great amount of different colours - my mind is not blowing away (from the negative point). I feel certain that the colours on the picture selected with good sense of rhythm and contrast - the picture looks bright and outstanding yet harmonics and even relaxing in some way. So I could suggest this is why the dark gloomy tree is trying to reach out to this "colorful glory". The ambient is beautiful. The same thing in our life - like this tree - we always tend to rise from the dark and trying to reach the light because light means life and hopes for the bright future)
+ I also confess that I'm not so good at traditional art but as a viewer I think the technique is very good. I like how the brush strokes were made on this picture - it shows dynamic of colourful whirlpool very well.
- The only thing that concerns me is a bend on the top of the tree. I think it looks a bit distracting from the whole composition of the picture - but as I said earlier - it is very hard to make critique to the abstract art - because maybe you did it intentionally and then my opinion is just too far beyond subjective.
In the end I still hope that my review to your picture will help you to take a fresh look at your art at least <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/>
I wish you inspiration and keep up the good work <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/r/r…" width="15" height="15" alt=":rose:" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="314" title="Rose"/>
